Childhood Aphasia, also called acquired aphasia, is a language disorder caused by brain injury or neurological damage that affects a child’s ability to speak, understand, read, or write. Unlike developmental delays, aphasia occurs after a period of normal language development, often due to stroke, head trauma, infection, or tumors.
